Simple watercolor abstract paintings created by children can be reorganized to create attractive cards or wall decor. A perfect picture for a playroom or for giving to grandparents!

Materials
Card stock or construction paper
I sat my preschooler down with a sheet of card stock and water color paints and let her go to work painting her own picture.
After the painting is dry, cut the picture into strips. I used 1 inch by 3 inch strips.
Start pasting the strips in a herringbone pattern on another piece of card stock. The strips may need to be trimmed a bit to ensure a tight fit.
Trim the strips and fill in any small spaces with the extra.
Create a cleaner look by framing in a card or put the picture under a mat to frame for your wall.
My preschooler was so happy with how the picture turned out, she wants to make another one for her room!
