With the summer holidays approaching, you know you will have to keep your tiny tots busy and entertained. Here are two easy-to-do paint and craft activities that will keep your kid occupied and you relieved.
Paper Plate Fish
Time: 10-15 minutes
Materials
Paper Plate
Tissue Paper
Glue
Scissors
Tube Paints
Wiggle Eyes
Method
Take paper plates in different colors and sizes.
Now cut a triangle out of your plate. Cut the first one and ask your child to follow.
Paste the cut triangle as the tail of the fish.
Now let your kid paint the fish in whatever colors they want.
Once the paint dries up, apply glue all over the fish on the painted side. The paint must dry up properly first.
Now cut the different colored tissue paper into roughly square pieces. Start sticking them on the fish like they are the fish’s scales.
Children love sticking things. So let them stick while you cut.
When all the tissue paper is cut and stuck, take out the wiggle eyes. You can also substitute wiggle eyes with buttons.
Stick them as the eye of the fish and your paper plate fish is ready!
Cupcakes and cookies will taste even more delicious on these paper plates.
