Jungle Trees
Make these Jungle Trees with only a few art supplies. The downloads are leafy shapes in two shades of junglicious green!

Materials
Method
Paint the backs of the printout
Print out the leaves and paint the backs green.
...paint cardboard tubes brown
Paint cardboard tubes (toilet rolls are great!) a nice browny trunk colour
...add some tree markings with a black marker
Add tree markings with a black marker. Try short downward strokes and rows of 'u's or 'w's
...cut out leaves...
Cut out the leaf shapes and fold in half lengthwise
...make leafy cuts...
Make random triangular cuts to make the leaves like palm leaves as shown in the photo
...leaf one...
Glue the ends of the leaves to the inside of the cardboard tube - it's easier to start with the smaller leaves
...leaf two on the opposite side...
...leaf three...
Pinch the leaves to fold them down where you want them
...leaf four...finished
...now you have your own jungle!
