A fun and fast way to create Lego prints! Stamp with Duplo Lego blocks on paper to create cards, gift bags, gift wrap or if you use fabric paint, even t-shirts!

Time: 30 minutes for 30 bags (plus drying time for paint)
Age: Any Age
Level: Easy

Materials
Paper or paper bags
Duplo Lego blocks
Paint
Paint trays (we use styrofoam trays)

Method
Pick 2 pieces of Duplo to use per colour of paint. You will be using one piece to create the rectangle and one piece to create the circles. You may use just one brick and flip it over but this will be a little messier!
Set out your paper or gift bags on a flat surface. Pour paint into a tray.

paper bags

Using the rectangle side, create the 4-sided stamp. Using the side with the holes, align inside the rectangle to create the circles.

Finished bags
The blue block was used to make the rectangle and the red block is being used to stamp the circles.

Finished bags

Vary your positions and colours to create unique patterns on your gift bags or paper.

Let the paint dry and wash your Duplo with warm, soapy water.
If you want, personalize your bags with a Lego key chain!
