This little horse greeting card has lots of interesting textures. It's perfect to send to a special friend who loves horses.

Materials
Black or brown raffia for mane and tail
Scrap of leather or other material for saddle
Small button or sequin for eye
Horses are really hard to draw so if you can't draw one freehand the way you want it, try tracing one from a book using tracing paper.
Cut out the horse shape, then use your tracing paper template to cut out a horse shape from the brown felt.
Cut several lengths of raffia and snip each piece into several strands. Sellotape these on to the reverse side of your horse to make a mane and tail.
Cut out a saddle from a scrap of leather (or other fabric) and glue on with PVA glue.
Now glue the whole horse onto the blank card with PVA glue.
Glue on a tiny button or sequin for an eye using PVA glue (or super glue if needed).
Your little horse greeting card is now ready to send.
