Make Shorts From Jeans

We always have one lousy, unwanted pair of jeans lying around which has been collecting dust for a long time. It's time to brush off that dust and turn them into a pair of smart shorts.

Time: 10 minutes
Age: Any Age
Level: Easy

Materials
  • Old pair of jeans
  • Scissors
  • White chalk
  • Needle
  • Matching thread
  • Iron

    • Method

  • Lay your jeans on a flat surface.



  • Mark the length that you want with the white chalk.
  • You can make a straight line or a slant.
  • Leave some extra space to fold it up.




  • Cut out with scissors.



  • Fold up the edges and iron to make it flat.



  • Stitch only the sides of the folded edges.
  • You can add beads or paint on any design to give it a fancy look.
