Marshmallow top hats
These retro marshmallow top hats are fun to make and are an easy treat for a birthday party.

Materials
Colourful mini cake cases
1 bar of milk chocolate or 1 large bag of chocolate buttons
We used chocolate melts but I think a regular chocolate bar or chocolate buttons would work better as our top hats tended to soften quite quickly again at room temperature.
Ingredients
Put an inch of hot water in a saucepan on a medium heat. Put the chocolate into a Pyrex jug and put the jug into the saucepan of water. Be careful not to let any water get into the Pyrex jug with the chocolate.
Allow the chocolate to melt in the jug, stirring with a metal spoon.
Be careful not to let any water splash into the chocolate
Lay the mini cake cases out on a tray
Put a spoonful of melted chocolate into each case then place a marshmallow on top of the melted chocolate
Allow to set in the fridge
Have a great party!
It has a nice crinkly edge when lifted out of the case
