These art candles are fun and easy to make and make a perfect Mother's Day gift! Fingerprint flowers and bees adorn the brightly painted candles wrapped in creativity of loved ones!

Materials
Method
Measure the height and circumference of your candle. Cut a tissue paper rectangle to fit just a little smaller than your candle height and the exact circumference of the candle.
Pick your flower colours and dipping fingertips into the paint,create your flower centers and petals. You may wish to put wax paper under the tissue paper as the paint may soak through.
Continue with yellow paint and add bumblebees.
Using a brush, create your flower stems and grass.
Using the fine tipped black pen, put stripes and wings on your bees. Add a Mother's Day wish if you like and the year.
Put you bumblebee strips and messages on before the tissue paper is wrapped on the candle.
Select a piece of wax paper that can wrap around your candle with enough extra to hold onto.
Wrap the drawing around the candle and then wrap the wax paper around, hanging onto the extra flap securely. This part will need to be done by an adult.
Apply the hair dryer to the candle. The hot air will melt the wax of the candle and the wax paper and make the tissue paper become part of the candle.
You will need to move your grip on the wax paper to make sure all the tissue paper is melted onto the candle
Carefully remove the tissue paper and admire your newly created art candle!
