This is an easy way for small children to have a messy time painting oranges and lemons using a potato and leaves from the garden.

Time: 1 hour
Age: Under 5's, 5-10's
Level: Easy

Materials
Paint
Leaves
Potato

Method
Paint the back of your leaves where they are most veiny, then press onto paper.

Cut potato in half. Dip one half into orange paint for the oranges, and the other half into yellow paint for the lemons. Press potato halves onto paper.

Leave room between the pressed leaves so that there's lots of space for groups of oranges and lemons.

Paint your oranges & lemons on a large sheet of paper, use as gift wrap if you like.
