Pancake Faces

Playing with your food can be a good tool to learn about emotional expression.



Time: 15 minutes to prepare
Age: Any age
Level: Easy



Materials
Pancake mixture
Empty, clean sauce bottle
Fry pan
Oil
Spatula

Method
Make your favourite pancake mixture or use this easy to make pancake recipe.
Pour into an empty sauce bottle.
Heat your oiled fry pan on a low heat.



Use the sauce bottle to design facial features in pancake mix, and cook as usual.



Serve to children and watch their imaginations go wild.





Inspire their thinking by making names to go with their pancake faces.
