Method

Lay the paper flat, then fold it zig-zag fashion.

On the top sheet of the zig-zag, draw the design. For a person, draw the arms and legs extending out to touch the edges of the paper. Do the same for stars and hearts, this time making sure the outer points and outer curves reach the paper edges.

Use scissors to cut out the shape. Make sure not to cut where the hands (or design) meets the paper folds.

Open up the paper and watch the people, stars and hearts stretch out.

Use coloured markers, pencils or crayons to decorate the designs! Try making a replica of your own family or friends!
