Paper Egg Decorations

Whether as a table decoration or hanging on branches, these decorative eggs are a winner.

Makes a great tree decoration

Time: Time will depend on how many eggs you are making and the size. These took me two hours.
Age: Over 5s
Level: Easy

Materials

Plain or patterned paper.

Easter egg template (choose desired size).

Pipe cleaners.

Scissors.

Marker/Pencil.

Glue (stick glue works best for this activity).

All the materials you will need

Method

Trace egg template on paper. You will need 10 egg shapes to make 1 whole egg.

Tracing templates

Cut out egg shapes and fold in half. Leave printed side on the inside.

Fold in half

Glue one on top of the other, making a stack.

Putting one on the other

Before placing the last egg shape on, glue on the pipe cleaner, then glue final egg shape on top.

Put in pipe cleaner

Glue the first and last piece together and spread open to form the egg decoration.

Finishing off

Ready to use as you like.

Decorate how ever you like
