Paper Egg Decorations

Whether as a table decoration or hanging on branches, these decorative eggs are a winner.

Makes a great tree decoration


Time: Time will depend on how many eggs you are making and the size. These took me two hours.
Age: Over 5s
Level: Easy

Materials
  • Plain or patterned paper.
  • Easter egg template (choose desired size).
  • Pipe cleaners.
  • Scissors.
  • Marker/Pencil.
  • Glue (stick glue works best for this activity).

  • All the materials you will need


    Method
  • Trace egg template on paper. You will need 10 egg shapes to make 1 whole egg.

  • Tracing templates


  • Cut out egg shapes and fold in half. Leave printed side on the inside.

  • Fold in half


  • Glue one on top of the other, making a stack.

  • Putting one on the other


  • Before placing the last egg shape on, glue on the pipe cleaner, then glue final egg shape on top.

  • Put in pipe cleaner


  • Glue the first and last piece together and spread open to form the egg decoration.

  • Finishing off


  • Ready to use as you like.

  • Decorate how ever you like
