Spring is here, the Magnolias are in bloom. DIY paper magnolia flowers.

Time: 30 minutes
Age: Over 10's
Level: Hard

Materials
Dark red & lilac paper
Scissors
Sticky tape
Craft glue

Method
Cut a long strip of red paper, fold over in half and snip into all the way along.




Roll up and secure in place with sticky tape.



Cut petal shapes from your lilac paper.
Fold petals in half, then make a little fold at the base to make your petal fold in a little.
Secure with sticky tape.
Do this with all your petals.




Sticky tape one petal at a time to each other, then the back of your lilac flower.



Cut out a small circle and glue into the base of your paper flower, then glue on top the deep red centre.
