A nest made from two paper plates, complete with eggs and paper birds.

Level: Easy
Materials
Coloured paper (two different colours)
Colour the bottom half of one of the paper plates brown (for the nest). Make sure you colour the inside of this paper plate.
This part will not really be seen, so being neat isn't necessary
Colour the top half of the paper plate blue (for the sky).
I left some white patches for clouds
Cut the second paper plate in half.
Colour the outside of one of the halves brown, just like the bottom of the other plate.
Staple the half you just coloured to the bottom of the other plate, creating a pocket which will be the nest.
Cut out some egg shapes from the remaining paper plate half.
You may want to cut out an egg that's been cracked open too
Glue the egg shapes to the front of the nest.
In order to make the two birds seen below, follow the instructions found
here. Any birds will do though.
Tuck the birds into the nest (the open bases of the Easy Paper Birds should keep them from falling down, but you can add some stuffing if you like).
