Here are some super easy paper plate puppets to make. It's an ideal craft project for pre-schoolers and younger children.

Method
Draw a face on the paper plate using the pens. You could also try cutting out eyes, noses and mouths from magazines and let the children pick out ones to stick on.
Glue on wool for hair. Older children might like to try plaiting it first.
Stick a popsicle stick onto the back of the plate face using tape.
Your paper plate puppet is now ready. Have fun!
