Kids love to play with paper punches - it does not matter the shape or pattern, they just want to punch out paper! Let their enthusiasm be put to craft by creating a bouquet of balloons from a simple large paper punch!

Time: 10 minutes
Age: Any Age
Level: Easy

Materials
  • Paper punch (we used a 1 inch punch)
  • Scrap paper
  • Heavy craft paper or cardstock for the the card
  • Yarn, embroidery thread or any craft string
  • Glue and scissors

  • Method
  • Punch circles out of scrap paper. Vary colours and use patterns too!

  • We were making a birthday card for a toddler so we added an elephant holding the balloons. Print out an elephant template if you wish.

  • We printed an extra ear to make our ear pop out from the page.

  • Glue your elephant and ear onto your card.

  • Simply cut a little extra on your ear and create a fold to glue to your paper.

  • Cut string for your balloons and glue onto the card. Ensure the strings are long enough to be concealed under the balloons.

  • Glue on your balloons.

  • Personalize and give!
