Developing fine motor skills is important for young kids and it can be fun too. I set this pasta threading challenge up for my 2 year old but my 4 year old also enjoyed joining in. We were also able to practise counting all together and some simple maths with my eldest.

Method
To set up the challenge, roll play dough into a ball and stick in a piece of spaghetti.
Little ones are challenged to thread the pasta over the spaghetti.
It's a good way to practise counting too.
