Pearl Barley in a little dish

Method

Use the nikko to draw a chick outline on the paper.

Use the orange texta to colour the beak.

Glue on the goggly eye.

Glue lines across the chick where you would like the pearl barley to stick.

Sprinkle on pearl barely to cover the entire chick, then shake off excess back into the dish.

Leave to dry.

Extend the activity by encouraging your children to draw their own templates, such as a Hen or a Crocodile.
