This is a really simple craft which toddlers especially will enjoy. Dependent on the age of the children, you can either prepare the craft for them and do all of the cutting ahead of craft time, or for older kids, they will enjoy practising their scissor skills. This is a cheap craft to make, and you might already have the materials at home.
Time: 5 minute preparation time (if you are pre cutting the materials) and about 5 minutes craft time per penguin.

Materials
Gather your materials
Black and orange or yellow card
Eye stickers or goggly eyes
Glue, sellotape and scissors
Cut the black card into a long strip, making the depth of the card however long you wish your penguin to be.
Roll the card into a tube shape and secure with Sellotape.
Cut white paper into a rounded rectangular shape.
Cut orange card into a small diamond shape (which will form a beak). Bend the diamond shape into a beak.
Use the glue stick to affix the white paper, beak and goggly eyes onto the penguins black body. With the beak you want to glue the entire bottom of the beak (the bottom triangle of the diamond) onto the white paper as this will make it more sturdy.

You can repeat all of the steps above to make as many penguins as your penguin family requires.
If you have a toddler who is not good at cutting you can pre cut the materials so that all they need to do is stick all the pieces together.
