Hang some of these fun little bees around the garden for a whimsical touch. They don't take long to make and are not too tricky for smaller children to create. You can buy the pipe cleaners from any discount variety store or art/crafts shop.

Materials
Method
Twist the black and yellow pipe cleaners together to form one thick multi colored pipe cleaner.
Multi colored pipe cleaner
Wrap the yellow and black combination pipe cleaner around a pencil to form a twisted spiral bee's body.
Wrap the body
Take the remaining black pipe cleaner, fold it in half, and form two spirals at either end which will then be attached to the body to form antennae.
Make the antennae
Poke the antennae through the middle of the bee body and leave the spiral bits sticking out at the front. Then you have made a very easy pipe cleaner bee. Now it just needs some other friends to visit all the flowers with. Have fun.
