Pipe cleaners are so versatile and are an excellent tool to encourage kids to use their imagination and get creative. It only takes a few multi colored pipe cleaners to make these simple and fun bicycles. My kids were racing these ones around the house all afternoon and were most pleased with their creations. You can find multi colored pipe cleaners in most discount variety stores.

Materials
3 multi colored pipe cleaners
Make two wheels
Make two circular wheels, using the first pipe cleaner (we used yellow).
Add the frame
Add the bicycle frame and seat, by wrapping the second pipe cleaner (we used orange) around each wheel and shaping the seat with your fingers. (See above)
Add the handlebars
Add the handlebars and the pedals, wrapping the third pipe cleaner (we used green) around the bicycle frame. (See above) Working with pipe cleaners is very easy once you get the hang of it.
Multi colored bikes
Enjoy playing with your newly created bicycle. You can add a basket or maybe try some different colors.
