This is so easy to make and a fantastic game for the whole family to play together.

Materials
Snakes and ladders template. You can either draw one up yourself or make it on the computer and print it out. This can be printed on pink or blue paper, or simply your child's favourite colour.
Snake pictures/Ladder pictures
Pirate/Princess pictures (sticker books are a great source of your child's favourite pictures)
Castle/Ship picture as the final destination
Laminating sheets or contact
Cut out all snakes, ladders, pirates and/or princesses.
Using double sided sticky tape, tape snakes and ladders wherever you want them on the game.
Again using double sided sticky tape, tape princesses and/or pirates onto laminating sheets.
Note: You only need a small of piece of sticky tape, it is simply to keep everything in place when you put the laminating sheets through the machine, otherwise they will move around and not end up in the right spot.
Once you have laminated the princess/pirates, cut around each one. I tend to leave a small amount of laminating sheet around the picture, this just makes them last longer and seals them in properly.
You are now ready to play snakes and ladders.
