Dont really eat it

Have fun decorating play dough pretend ice creams and sell them in a make-believe ice cream shop. This would be a fun activity to do in a group or as a birthday party activity.

Its easy to make your own play dough

Time: 20 minutes
Age: Under 5's, 5-10's
Level: Easy

Materials

Various colours of play dough

Ice cream cones

We used a play doh fun factory to help make decorations but you can also mold your own toppings

Method

Place a ball of play dough into your ice cream cone

Make fun toppings. We extruded wiggly spaghetti strips and molded fun textured circles using a play doh fun factory. However you can easily roll your own decorations and press circles of play dough into buttons to get some fun shapes.
