My youngest son is really into monsters at the moment. He loves to pretend to be one and chase me as well as reading monster books. We made these play dough monster today and he found it really engaging. Play dough is a great toy to develop the hand muscles and adding the decoration is great for fine motor skills too.

Time: 15 minutes
Age: Under 5's
Level: Easy

Materials
Play dough
Googly eyes
Other small bits and pieces for decoration

Method
Roll balls of play dough.

Play dough, preschool, fine motor, monster, alien


Squish them down to make the monster bodies.

Add some eyes.
Decorate with other small bits and pieces.
