Popsicle Christmas Tree Ornament

Christmas is 10 days away and if you are still looking for handmade Christmas tree ornaments to make with the kids, this is another great idea. Make a Christmas tree using popsicle sticks and decorate to your liking like a Christmas tree. It is easy and fun to make and will bring a personal touch to your Christmas tree decorations.


Time: 15 minutes
Age: Any Age
Level: Easy

Materials
  • Popsicle sticks
  • Hot glue gun
  • White and brown paper
  • Star punch holder
  • Twine or rope ribbon
  • Scissors
  • Decorative items: pipe cleaners, pompoms, stickers.


    • Method
  • Start by punching star shapes with the yellow paper. Cut brown paper in small squares for the base of the tree.
  • Cut about 2-3 cm of one of the popsicle to use for the base.
  • Cut ribbon.
  • Using hot glue gun, glue the ribbon and two normal popsicle together. Press gently and glue the base.
  • Decorate with pompon, pipe cleaners.

  • Place on Christmas trees.
