When fall comes and the leaves start falling from the trees, my kids have so much fun collecting all the different shapes and colours that they find. What do you do with all the leaves that are collected? After pressing the leaves, let your imaginations go to create any kind of animals or scenery from the vibrant fall colours!

Method
After collecting your leaves, lay them out between a layer of tissue paper or paper towel and newspaper.
Layer the newspaper in a heavy book or flower press and leave for up to two weeks.
When the leaves are pressed, remove from the books and observe the shapes.
Arrange the leaves into shapes of animals.
Glue your leaves onto your paper.
Let dry and admire your leaf creations!
