Make an easy sea themed card and have fun exploring making simple prints.

Materials

Plate

Blue paint

White paper

Plain card

Something to scrape marks into paint (e.g a fork, pencil, stick etc)

Scissors, glue

Method

Squirt some blue paint onto a flat dish and spread it out.

Scrape swirls or wavy lines into the paint. We used a plastic sea turtle to scrape our pattern.

Place a piece of white paper onto the paint and press lightly.

Lift off to reveal your sea print.

When dry, cut out an interesting section and stick into a piece of folded card to make an unusual greetings card.
