Printable Draughts or Checkers Board

Draughts or checkers is an easy game to learn as there are not many rules. The trick is working out a strategy and learning to look at the bigger picture - and having to sacrifice pieces at some point.

Print out some Draughts board bases to make, learn to play the game and get playing!

Print your download



Fill the grid with colours of your choice. You could try patterns for something different.

Trim along outer edges



Cut a piece of card larger than the draughts board printout, mark where the printout will go and paint the rest of the cardboard for the games board base



Glue the grid to the cardboard base.

Grab some buttons, stones or beads to use as counters and get playing.



Download

The download consists of three bases. A plain grid to colour yourself, a 'traditional' black and white base, and a ready made pink and blue grid.
