Materials
Empty glass jar
PVA glue
Orange tissue paper
Black card
Tea light candle

Method
Cut tissue paper into pieces. This is a great fine motor skills activity if your kids have started using scissors for kids.

Apply glue to the outside of the glass jar (we used an old jam jar) and then stick on the tissue paper. You'll need to keep adding glue and brush over everything when done.

Cut out a couple of triangles and a jagged mouth from black card and stick on for the face.
Once dry, the tissue paper will be slightly translucent.
Pop in a tea light candle and enjoy the spooky glow.

Remember to be very careful with candles. It's pretty obvious but always good to remember not to leave with a child or in a room unattended. If you can find the small battery operated ones then even better.
