Cute little bunny

Finger and hand print painting can be turned into lots of fun pictures. My son has a rabbit toy called Babbit and he goes to bed with him every night. He really enjoyed making these hand print rabbit cards.

Time: 15 minutes
Age: Under 5's
Level: Easy

Materials
  • Card
  • Paint
  • Glue
  • Googly eyes
  • Black pen

  • Method
  • Fold your card reading for printing.
  • Paint your child's palm and just two fingers.
  • Let them place their painted hand in the middle of the card.

  • Ready for some rabbit features

  • The pattern left on the card from the palm will be the rabbit's face and the two fingers become the ears.
  • Let your child stick one finger in some paint of a different colour and then make a print in the middle of the rabbit's face. You now have a nose.
  • Glue on a a couple of googly eyes.
  • You can draw on a smile and some teeth for your child.

  • This would make a fun card at any time of the year as well as at Easter. For more Easter crafts and card ideas, click here .
