Ribbon Christmas Tree Cards

Use up bits of scrap ribbon to make these simple christmas tree cards! An easy craft project, the whole family can get involved to make cards for friends or family.

Time: 5 minutes per card
Age: Any Age
Level: Easy

Materials


Finished card

Cardstock
Brown felt or construction paper
Ribbon
Scissors
Glue
Stars, glitter or sequins for embellishments

Method
Cut and/or fold cardstock to create the card base.
Cut felt or paper trunks.
Select several different types of ribbon and cut at an angle in various lengths. We used Christmas ribbon but any ribbon scraps would look great!


Finished card

Glue on your trunk and branches in a tower pattern.


Finished card

Attach stars, sequins or glitter and allow to dry.
Write a cheery Christmas message and send to your friend and family!
