Santa Arm Card

Santa Arm Card

Posted 2013-12-22 by Mina Keenanfollow

Santa throws open his arms to welcome the recipient! Try this easy to make card - a pop up variant.

Time: 10 minutes
Age: Over 10's, Any Age
Level: Easy

Materials

  • A4 copy paper (thicker paper like cartridge is better).
  • Scissors
  • Glue

  • Method

Cut out pieces. The large piece is the main card. The smaller image is for decorating the front of the card and the other pieces are Santa's arms.

Fold each arm in half and dab a bit of glue on the hands to keep them together.

The blue dotted lines on the main card piece are folding guides. Fold the card in half. See where the dotted lines meet the halfway fold line and make a mark with your nail on the outside fold line and fold as indicated in the photo. Crease the fold really well.

Open the card and apply glue to the triangles just below the middle of the card and press the ends of the arms to follow the fold as shown.

This is how the arms are folded inside the card. Take note of how the folds you made before are position on the halfway fold line.

This is how the card looks when it is closed.

Glue the smaller image to decorate the front of the card. Write your message and you're done!
