Snow-Covered Tree

This tree could be part of a winter wonderland scene or make a unique Christmas tree. If you have green streamers, you can make a normal tree too.

Time: 40 minutes
Age: 5-10's
Level: Easy

Materials
Paper
Glue
Scissors
Crepe paper streamers
Tape
Compass

Method
Cut out a semicircle of paper.

I used a compass to create my semicircle


Create a cone and glue/tape it together (remember that trees are generally tall and skinny).

Create some fringing along one side of your streamers by make a series of small incisions along one edge that extend about halfway across.

Glue a length of streamer around the base of the cone.

Keep gluing circles of fringed streamers all the way up the cone.
