My kids love to play with wine corks so we put our corks to good use making snowman gift tags for Christmas! A really fun way to make several tags using recycled and scrap materials!

Gift tag

Time: 20 minutes for 12 tags
Age: Any Age
Level: Easy

Materials
Wine cork
White paint
Cardstock or heavy craft paper tags
Scrap felt (black and any other colour)
Small twigs
White glue
Hole punch

Method
Cut the cardstock or craft paper into gift tag size pieces.
Pour white paint onto a tray or plastic lid.
Dip the wine cork into the white paint and then stamp 3 times in a row on your gift tag pieces.

Gift tag

Encourage younger children to try to stack the circles on top of one another.

Gift tag

Cut out felt hats and scarfs and glue onto the snowmen.

Gift tag

Ad small twigs for arms or use left over felt or paper to make twigs.

add twigs

Allow the snowmen to dry.
If you wish, continue to decorate your snowmen by adding a face and/or buttons.
Punch a hole in the top corner to slip a ribbon through.
Right your personal note on the back and attach to your gift!
