Sock Donkey
You'll never need new batteries for these fun torches.
Time: 25 minutes
Age: Under 5's, 5-10's
Level: Easy
Materials
Long cardboard tube or a toilet paper roll
Aluminium foil
Clear plastic cup
Cellophane (one coloured piece and one clear)
Glue
Sticky-tape
Black marker
Method
Cut off the top of the plastic cup (I did this so the cup was in proportion to my toilet paper roll, but if you're using a longer tube, it isn't necessary).
Tape the plastic cup to one end of the cardboard tube.
Cover your cardboard tube in aluminium foil.
Scrunch up the cellophane and tape it inside the cup. I put cream plastic inside clear cellophane for mine.
Cut out another piece of clear cellophane or plastic and tape it over the end of the cup.
Draw an On/Off button onto the torch's handle with the marker.
