Super Easy Banana Bread

Kids love to bake and this is a super easy, all in one bowl recipe which makes it simple to set up and maximises fun for little ones. Mashing the bananas is also a fun activity. Even better, the results tastes great too.

Time: 15 minutes plus 1 hour baking
Age: Any Age
Level: Easy

Materials
225g self raising flour
100g butter
1/2 tsp salt
150g golden caster sugar and a little for sprinkling
450g bananas
2 eggs
75g raisins


Method
Preheat oven to 180 degress C.
Peel and mash the bananas.

Put all the ingredients except for the raisins in a bowl and give it a good mix.

Stir in the raisins.
Put the mixture into a lined, greased loaf tin and then sprinkle over a little sugar on top.
Bake in the oven for an hour or until a skewer inserted, comes out clean.

Washing up doesn't have to be a parent chore at the end. My two year old loved joining in.
