Super Easy Snake Face Paint
If you have a child at home who enjoys having their face painted, then this is a quick and easy fun activity that they'll be able to wear with pride for the rest of the day. This facepaint can go on the face, with the head of the snake next to the lips, or you can do it on the arm as I have done for my little one.
It's such a simple facepaint that older children will be able to create a snake on their friends or younger (obliging) sibling.
This would be great for a kids party
Time: 10 minutes
Age: Any age

Materials
Some facepaints. I used yellow, dark green, light green, black, white and red, but you can go with whatever colours you have.
2 face paint brushes. For best results use 1 flat facepaint brush and one round facepaint brush. I used a #12 flat brush and a #2 round brush.

Method
The basic outline
Load up your flat brush with two contrasting colours. Aim for half of your brush to be yellow and the other half to be green.
Paint a curvy snake line onto the skin. This can be as long or as short as you want. Finish by sweeping the end into two points to create a head type diamond shape.
Add on some details and some eyes
Once you're happy with the snakes body, you now need to just add some detail. Little dashes and flecks of black become scales, and don't forget to add on some eyes and a scary tongue.
Add some scales and a tongue
You don't need to, but adding a black or dark green outline can help to make your snake stand out.
This would also be great for Halloween
This is also a great face paint for kids who don't like to sit still as you can complete a very basic snake in less than 3 minutes.
