With Earth Day almost a month away (22nd April), let the kids be inspired by Dr Seuss' The Lorax to save our planet. This craft is very easy to make and will be a reminder of Dr Seuss' wise words from the book 'Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot ,nothing is going to get better. It's not.' This craft will undeniably have a positive influence on the kids to be environmentally friendly and take actions to preserve our beautiful Earth.

Materials
Empty toilet rolls/Cardboard tubes
Yellow, green and orange paper
Pink and yellow pipe cleaners
Glue, scissors, tape, pencil
Cover the toilet roll with the orange paper and tape. Push excess inside the roll.
Draw the eyebrows and mustache of the Lorax and cut.
Glue on the covered roll, together with the eyes.
Tape two lollipop sticks halfway. Cover with pipe cleaners by twisting around to make the Truffula tree.
Glue tissue paper around the top of the tree.
Tape the tree to the paper plate.
Tape the Lorax to the paper plate.
Cut green paper into thin strips. Place around the tree and the Lorax to represent the green grass.
