This paper succulent is a great craft to put up for Mother's Day. Forget about the flowers and make some paper succulent as gifts instead. I have seen fake succulent planters, but these are equally great as decorations or display. These are quite easy to craft and require only few materials at hand.

Materials
Small flower pots (I used plastic ones)
To make the base, trace and cut cardboard the size of the pot.
Cut 26 strips of tissue papers (17cm x 5 cm approximately).
Follow steps in the below photo: fold each strip in half, twist and fold over to form a leave.
Trim the loose side into a petal shape.
Start glueing the leaves, starting with 9 leaves. Repeat with 7 leaves, then 5, 3 and 2.
You might have to trim the last 2 leaves.
Place into pots and adjust the leaves. Your plant is ready.
