Toilet Roll Air Plane

Make your own toilet roll airplane with magazine paper and paddle pop sticks.



Time: 40 minutes
Age: 5-10's
Level: Hard

Materials

  • 3 paddle pop sticks
  • Sticky tape
  • Glue
  • Toilet roll
  • Page from a magazine or a sheet of coloured paper
  • Hole puncher
  • scissors

  • Slice a hole at the base of the toilet roll and pass through paddle pop stick, secure underneath with sticky tape.



  • Slice a hole at the top of the toilet roll and pass through the wing span cut out from magazine.



  • Sticky tape over the top of the plane, gluing the wing to it and then cutting out to cover the top of the plane and one wing. Do the same on the other side then sticky tape a coloured strip along the middle.





  • Cut a hole in the back of the toilet roll vertically and insert plane tail cut out from magazine, securing in place with sticky tape.



  • Sticky tape 2 paddle pop sticks to make the propeller and stick to the front of the plane running the clear tape along the sides.



  • Hole punch the magazine and decorate the plane with circles along the wing span and on the propeller.
