Here is another craft idea using toilet rolls: flower or plant 'pots'. This is a great fun activity for kids to do and these 'pots' definitely make some pretty decorations.

Using marker, make a line around the roll, about 2 cm high from the bottom. Draw your flower/ plant.
Carefully cut along the marked line.
Paint your flowers/ plants.
