Valentine Heart Magnet

Valentine's Day is just around the corner. Here is an easy and fun craft to make to spread some love in the house, around the kitchen area, or any magnetic surface area. It is inexpensive to create and will definitely bring some sparkle to any room. I am sure the kids will be inspired to make these heart creations.

Time: 15 minutes (plus additional drying time)
Age: Any Age
Level: Easy

Materials
  • Thick cardboard (pink, cream colour)
  • Sequins, buttons, ribbons, craft twines
  • Heart-shaped mould (or simply print a heart-shaped picture)
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Punch-hole
  • Craft magnet
  • Markers

    • Method
  • Outline the heart shape on the cardboard and cut.
  • Punch holes around the edges.
  • Place twines in the holes, in and out until all holes are done. Tie the ends of the twine.
  • Write down any notes in the centre of the heart.
  • Alternately glue sequins on the heart-shaped cardboard.
  • Once dried, glue magnet on the other side.
  • Let to dry and place on the fridge.
