A fun little science experiment that doesn't require complicated equipment. Start with water in the first glass and watch it travel to the others until the level is equal in them all.

Science, experiment, preschool

Time: 5 minutes to set up and time for the water to walk.
Age: Under 5's, 5-10's
Level: Easy

Materials
3 glasses
Water
Food colouring
Kitchen roll paper

Method
Line up three clear glasses.
Fill the first glass with coloured water. We just mixed a little food colouring in. It's much easier to see and more fun to watch the coloured water.
Place kitchen roll from one glass to another. It's worth doubling it up to keep it strong.

Now all you have to do is wait. The water will slowly travel up the kitchen roll and into the next glass.
