Wax Paper and Crayon Lantern

Light up your kids artwork with this simple lantern.

Time: 15 minutes
Age: Under 5's
Level: Easy

Materials
Wax paper
Crayons
Glass
Sticky tape
Tea light candle

Method
Cut a piece of wax paper (baking parchment) so that it will wrap around your glass and is slightly higher in height.

Get creative and draw whatever design you like. Even little ones can get involved with scribbles.
Wrap the paper around the outside of the glass and tape together. It must be on the outside of the glass.

Place a tea light candle inside and see your design light up.

Candles should be kept well out if reach from kids and never left unattended. If you can find electric tea lights this would be even better.
