Looking for a great way to make dot stamps? Try using a wine cork! We used wine corks to make our gumballs in a gumball machine. The perfect size, the corks are easy and fun to use!

Time: 10 minutes (plus drying time for paint)
Age: Under 5's, 5-10's
Level: Easy

Materials
  • Wine corks
  • Various paint colours
  • Gumball template
  • Red craft paper
  • Cardstock or heavy craft paper

  • Method
  • Find a gumball machine template that you like and print it out.
  • Pick your paint colours and pour out on a tray or lid.
  • Dip the corks in paint, stamp to the side to get off excess paint and then stamp on your gumball machine.

  • Let the paint dry.

  • Colour or paint the rest of your gumball machine or cut out the gumball machine from red craft paper. Highlight mechanisms with black marker.
  • Mount on a piece of cardstock or craft paper to display or put on a card for a cute birthday card!

  • Looking to improve counting and math skills? Print off several gumball machines and write down a number at the bottom of the sheet. Children can use the paint and wine cork stamps to put the correct number of gumballs in each machine!
