Mother's Day is celebrated in many parts of the world but on different days. Most countries celebrate at some time in the northern hemisphere spring. Afghanistan, Kosova, Vietnam and other countries celebrate on March 8; United Kingdom, Ireland and Nigeria on the 4th Sunday of Lent; and Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, China, Philippines, Uganda, United States and others celebrate on the second Sunday in May.
